Founded in 2010 by multi-Grammy Nominated & Producers Guild Association producers Dawn Fanning Moore and David Moore, CAPTURE is a green & sustainable production company with a combined experience of over 50 years (gulp!)

The CAPTURE team is highly regarded with years of success in advertising, music videos, television & film. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality productions for prestigious advertisers, musicians, studios, and streamers, CAPTURE is known for providing leadership for high-profile, complex projects with various budget ranges, technical challenges, creative teams, and stakeholders in deadline-driven environments.

For the past several years at CAPTURE, in addition to developing IP, Dawn & David have been producing for director/musician BILLIE EILISH. Most recently produced the critically acclaimed album cover for BILLIE’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT album cover. This work has garnered Grammy nominations for WHAT WAS I MADE FOR (for the feature film BARBIE) and HAPPIER THAN EVER music videos. Previously they produced and executive produced several seasons of BITE SIZE HALLOWEEN for Hulu. This is an initiative to elevate up-and-coming and underrepresented filmmakers. CAPTURE produced GRIMCUTTY, the first feature film developed from that series, airing on HULU. CAPTURE also produced Olivia Rodrigo’s feature music documentary, DRIVING HOME 2 U (A SOUR FILM), for Disney +, which was nominated for a Grammy for Long Form Video. David won a VMA for Billie Eilish’s YOUR POWER music video.

Currently, CAPTURE has optioned and is in development on several projects including a documentary on the legendary HATTIE MCDANIELS and the book series, IN DEVILS SWAMP, a trilogy of novels written by former Secret Service counsel Mack Cameron, a Mississippi native. This story takes place in the South during the 1920s, and the compelling stories of this time explore the limitations imposed on women, immigrants, and African Americans.

David Moore

With a degree in finance and over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, David started as a commercial producer, working with many clients including Microsoft, Occulus, Chevy, and Sony. David then began his tenure navigating the tricky waters of Independent Filmmaking, producing the critically acclaimed psychological thriller DOWNLOADING NANCY, directed by Johan Renck which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Another Sundance debut was legendary, Werner Herzog’s, LO AND BEHOLD, prior to its theatrical release in 2016. In 2018 David produced the 80’s AIDS epidemic documentary, 5B, directed by, Oscar-winning directors, Paul Haggis and Dan Krauss. Most recently David finds himself as Billie Eilish’s music video producer.

Dawn Fanning Moore

Grammy-nominated for her work with Radiohead, Dawn has a wealth of knowledge about commercials, music, TV, and film. Dawn has not only founded CAPTURE with David but has also produced and executive produced for different companies and a variety of clients. Over the years Dawn has worked with award-winning directors and produced advertisements for such high-profile companies as Coke, Pepsi, Capital One, and Nintendo, as well as years of beauty spots with Jennifer Lopez, Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman, and Charlize Theron.
